At the time of writing I’m enjoying the view from my 9th floor balcony while listening to the lovely sounds of a summerlike May.
Children are playing – one child joyfully chasing the other in a lively game of imaginary – birds are chirping and a delicious scent of barbecuing is tickling my nose.
For the first time in weeks I went out to shoot some outfit pictures. I bought this crop top from Bik Bok some time during the winter months, but haven’t got the chance to use it much due to the cold, crisp weather which has been haunting Denmark for what feels like forever. However, the sun was kindly embracing our small country with its warmth today, encouraging me to let go of my jeans and jump into a couple of shorts.
I’ve fallen completely in love with the deep rusty color of the crop top (I’ve even bought a blouse in the same color!). It might be a bit dark and “fally” for the spring- and summer months, but I think it looks absolutely great together with my leather shorts from MANGO.
Somehow the deep color of the top and the different texture of the shorts just compliment each other well, creating this edgy look together with my rivet sandals and golden necklace. I’d actually mentioned this crop top, along with an unofficial new years resolution about wearing more colors, in THIS post – and I must say that so far, I’m keeping the resolution quite well.
