I’ve got a lot of trinkets in my room; small colorful boxes hiding my jewelry and polaroid pictures hanging on the wall. Today I just want to share another one of my little decorations along with one of the easiest DIY tips in the world.
I’m the kind of person who like changes now and then – especially when it comes to the details and decorations of my room. But buying all sorts of small things to redecorate the boring surfaces and forgotten corners of your room can be an expensive affair. That’s why I’m crazy about this little neat decoration-hack. All you need is a long walk and some kind of glass jar or bottle. The great thing about this decoration idea is that you can fill the bottle/jar with whatever you feel like; small decorative stones/gravel, sand or maybe a small feather.
I stole this little bottle of seaweed and mussels from my mom one day several years ago. I’ve always found it very attractive since it kind of fits in with my idea of bringing a bit of nature inside. Later on a couple of seashells, a WHALE POSTER and a blue vase has joined the bottle, completing the sea-themed workspace corner in my room.
What do you think about this simple decoration?
